I went again to the hospital couples days ago and yesterday
for a follow up. Whereas I should have got better, my health instead crashed: my
tension dropped from 120/80 to 90/60, thus I feel very dizzy ; my weight keep
dropping … Nothing life threatening, but just not good enough to go climbing. The
doctors asked me to rest at least 2 weeks.
I think it is important to know to say Ok STOP, it is not
working. Let’s step back and find another way to reach your goal.
I‘ve decided to fly back to USA to speed up my recovery. I
will leave tomorrow. I will be back as soon as I got healthy again and got my strength
…
I met you in NAMCHE on 14 March, I was the 'Englishman' on my way down from EBC. Sorry to hear about your illness and postponing your expedition, I,ve no doubt it will only be temporary and you will soon be back in the mountains. Best wishes and a speedy recovery.
